Boy was my world rocked earlier this week. My humans just joined Netflix a couple months ago. The latest Blu-ray from their queue is a film called “I Am Legend” where everyone is wiped out by a killer virus except one human and his German Shepherd Samantha.
<<SPOILER ALERT>>
I was so excited to see her featured so prominently in the movie, that is until about half-way through, when she and her human are attacked by some really angry zombie-type dogs. To make a long story short, Sam doesn’t make it! What? The dog ALWAYS makes it.
Just yesterday I watched “Pearl Harbor” while my humans were at work. Even a dog on one of the sinking ships lives through the attack. I’m all for realism in the movies, but I think the dog should always live. Long live the dog!
